A note from our founder...

Hi, and thank you for visiting our site! My name is Carly Kincannon, and I am the founder of America's Sweethearts. Let me start off by saying I never thought I would do something like this - start a company. I'm an Indiana girl who came to New York City with big Broadway dreams, and I certainly never had any intention of getting people to work for me. I've been many things since moving to NYC - a waitress, a Disney princess, a receptionist, a promotional salesperson, a teacher, an Edible Arrangements rep (oh yeah, that happened)...But it wasn't until 2016 that I realized a deeper passion.

I met the amazing women of America's Sweethearts singing the music of The Andrews Sisters. Before The Sweets, I often felt out of place in New York City. But the moment I met these

inspiring women, it filled a void in my life that I didn't even know I had. They welcomed me into a family filled with respect, passion, and creativity. Singing with these women has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. There is so much to discover in the evolution of harmony through the decades, and I can think of no group better to explore it with than these gals.

Take The Andrews Sisters, for example. They were such a huge hit, and not only because they were beautiful, classy dames in the 1930s. Their music and their incredible, intricate harmonies were an inspriation in a time when there was much darkness. Our goal is to spread nostalgia, joy, and human connection through harmonies and music. I believe that this connection can span many decades, and our repetoire reflects that.

The women in this group are truly remarkable human beings, who happen to be some of the greatest talent New York City has ever seen. And I know if we choose to work together, you will see what I mean. I hope you will welcome us into your family.

Love,

Carly
